Just the right mix of quirky and awkward, with some interesting psychosis on display.

I found the first 45-50 minutes of this film torturous. It was trying to be cute and quirky but was simply idiotic and irritating. I felt no sympathy for the main character throughout this section. However the final third of the film redeems the beginning in hindsight. The message of the film still seems slightly ridiculous though.

Essentially, the Australian version of 'Super' or 'Defendor'....not as good as those two, but harmless and quirky. Ultimately, enjoyable as long as you don't expect too much.

Maybe I'm just getting tired of these offbeat superhero titles, but this fell fairly flat for me. It ends well, but it's a bit of a rough trip getting there.

Griff the Invisible suffers a bit of a good plot and a good final act, but it shows that Leon Ford is trying his best.

You get these types of movies that try to be quirky and fail, but I didn't ever feel like this was forced. It is very offbeat, in a really good way. I thought the central romance was done well and was really cute. Maeve Dermody is adorable, and Ryan does a good job too. Sure, the meaning can be a little odd... like it's well meaning cuz I think too many people criticize people for being "weird" just cuz they're different. But don't pretend to fight crime, that's actually dangerous to yourself.
