Exactly the kind of stodgy film that led to the death of Coat And Tie Horror. This is another film in which one of the actors tries to play two very different characters without makeup; there was one prominent actress who pulled this off in a certain other '50s movie (won't give away which one), but every other time it just looks silly

Boris is in top form. The plot eventually takes a twist that prefigures _Angel Heart_.

A decent spin on the Dr. Jeckyl/Mr. Hyde tale, good acting and generally not that bad. But it is forgettable, and requires you to be quite generous with your suspension of disbelief. Not a whole lot of action, either.
