Besides the whole "curse of Michael Myers" thing with the Thorn symbol background story which ads nicely to the franchise story, this surely sucks balls.

Better than 4 and 5 but that means very little when its still bad. It feels as if it was dumped out into cinemas back in 1995, and from what I've heard about its production, its clearly been messed around with, leading to druid mythology for Michael Myers which makes little sense in the film and was quickly aborted in the next sequel, and little to take interest in. I want to watch the rest of the sequels first, but this deserves to be buried, with only the morbidly curious allowed to view it.

Congratulations Halloween 6. You've given me a Paul Rudd movie that I hate. The whole druid plotline is just so ridiculous and unnecessary...not to mention uninteresting with the added side-effect of DETRACTING from all the movies that came before it. Myers is much scarier as an expression-less engine of evil who kills, well, just because. Rob Zombie doesn't think so (another review for another day), but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. There was just no need for this.

The series's sixth installment rates as the lamest of the lot. Most of the flick is devoted to the usual slice-and-dice set pieces, executed with few directorial flourishes and only middling gore FX.

What in the hell is this? What is it? Honestly. This is almost as bad as the Friday the 13th featuring the psychic girl fighting Jason. Michael is the result of a strange druid cult? I don't even know what to say other than this movie is just bad and stupid.

Paul Rudd wasn't even funny in this, what the hell? The druid thing is one of the worst plot developments in movie history. Still, being manipulated by druids is a lot better motivation for the character than being dumb white trash (fuck you Rob Zombie). Knock off another 20 points for the EVEN MORE fuckawful "Producer's Cut".

A terrible horror movie sequel saved by a young Paul Rudd, who steals every scene he's in, especially when he's mugging for the camera.
