I wanted to like this movie. I really, really did. But it hurt me. So many chances for good jokes, so many ideas that were never expanded upon, and why? Someone was a wet blanket. I guarantee it.

Good for the little kids, mainly. It's not a classic by any means, but it's at least watchable. Kind of a retread of Shrek 1, but this could be slightly better than Shrek the Third. The voice talent is...lacking.

Hard to watch always but frequently its agonizing from the generic voice talent to the missed opportunities that every single attempted joke represents. To think somebody could have fed a hungry nation instead.
