Jon Cryer plays a freakishly nerdy newspaper reporter in a small prairie town in this dopey low budget Canadian murder mystery. Ed Asner as the grumpy old editor is the only actor in the movie who doesn't look bored the whole time. The script is lame and full of bad attempts at humor, and the killer is obvious the whole time...but it's got Jennifer Tilly playing her trademarked ditzy slut character, and that goes a long way in my book.
