Despite the fact SR is not my cup of tea, documentary is a real something for sincerity.

It's not just a series of music videos. As the title says, it's a meditation on coming home.

This hard to really rate fairly for me. Some of the images are really beautiful and the music is pleasant enough, but I don't really care to listen to it for 90+ minutes, especially with interspersed interviews with people I don't care about in the least.

As much about the landscapes and the people of Iceland as it is about Sigur Ros. The photography is beautiful and I particularly liked the sections which featured archive footage - the old fisherman, the families on the beach and so on. It illustrated nicely that wherever you've been, no matter how much the country changes, home is always home.

An extraordinary documentary, especially for those who miss home, hometown people, innocent times and want to ease the everlasting pain temporarily. It makes you feel cosy, warms your heart. After all, it is Sigur Ros.

I love sigur ros and i´d loved this documentary.

There are no words to describe it; breathtaking is too bleak and powerful is too weak. I want to close my eyes and just listen, but I can't. It's simply all too beautiful.

Finally, an alternative approach for a music-tour-dvd. Sigur Ros' music on its own has has always forced me into a certain state of unawarness and with this original concept of Heima it makes you daydream even more. The photography and the accompanying interviews give a nice perspective in the collective soul of Iceland (maybe a bit too romanticized, but what the hell, Iceland is beautiful).

Hands down the most breathtaking 94 minutes of my life. Upon completion I was left speechless and unable, that's not even the right word, not wanting to move. I feel privileged to have seen it.

If you love Sigur Rós and you love Iceland, then this is a must-see/must-have. Lots of concert footage with great sound interspersed with interesting band member interviews and fascinating glimpses of Icelandic life and Icelandic scenery. Extremely well done.

A mesmerizing, transcendent and truly moving audiovisual experience. Especially for Sigur Rós listeners.

For anyone who appreciates the band, this is really great. You can feel the warmth of the Icelandic communities greeting the band, you just want to be part of it, to sit beside all these nice people in the nice landscapes and listen to the heavenly music.

If you thought that Sigur Ros' music could not get any more beautiful, any more enigmatic, any more staggeringly powerful then you are almost right - this film tries its darn well best to take the music, which is already incredible, to a whole different level. It is utterly beautiful. Absolutely, utterly fucking beautiful.
