Summary: A busload of high school students is hijacked by a diabolical criminal (Dennis Hopper) and his wife who are short on cash and even shorter on moral decency. Realizing their hostages are worth a mint in ransom money, the evildoers hole up in a cabin in the swampy everglades of Florida, confident that their hideout is secure. But they've misjudged the determination of the teens themselves, who refuse to play victim under any circumstances.
