"They Live" it ain't, but this outing from unsung 80ies gladiator thespian Roddy Piper is still mighty fine trash in its' own right. Mercifully free of the burden of quality, it combines a decent pace and the schlock staple fertility gag with tits and mutant frog people.
Quality is overrated anyway.

How does one screw up Rowdy Roddy Piper delivering one-liners in an action comedy with an amusing premise? Well, by showing a total of 10 minutes of action, and even less comedy in a freaking 100 minute film. No fights at all occur until 40+ minutes into this snoozer. Instead, we get lame interaction between Piper and the female lead, who is not only a terrible actress, but more skeletal than "attractive".Do I even need mention the amateur directing, predictability, and lack of continuity?

Roddy Piper in a post WW3 action flick where he's one of the few fertile men left in the World on a mission to nail babes and beat up a bunch of frog/mutant/things. Features a ridiculously unsexy "erotic" dance from Sandahl Bergman (Valeria from Conan the Barbarian). Hilariously bad.

It takes a special touch to make unpleasant situations and disgusting things funny, and the director of this film does not have it. This was just weird and trashy in a way that makes you wonder about the filmmakers.
