Completely unnecessary, inferior sequel. Why is Tommy's timid, reluctant, law-abiding father a fearsome gangster in the space of two minutes? Why does the film abandon all the humorous, pithy scenes that made it such a delight in the original in favor of incompetent dramatic ones? Why is the editing and directing so shoddy? (Random cuts, blows clearly not connecting?) Look, it still stars Fred "The Hammer" Williamson, and has some silly action, but it's not even close to the same.
