Summary: To retrieve some precious diamonds which were stolen from Udaya Varma (Jagannatha Varma), Police commissioner Samuel (C.I. Paul) devises a plan to fake Udaya Varma's death & recruits Ramadas (Raju) as a fake assassin. The plan goes through, but later Samuel gets killed, making Ramadas a fugitive. Meanwhile, Ramadas's girlfriend Shoba's (Menaka) brother Venugopal (Mohanlal) is on the run from David Antony Fernandez (Captain Raju), a crook who believes Venugopal knows the location of the diamonds.
