What was Disney thinking?

Pairing up what little story there is with a mismatched set of voice talents is one thing, but even Mencken's usually catchy musical numbers fail to deliver here. There's very little of substance here -- that is, if you exclude a weighty reminder of a dark, dark period in Disney history.

Excellent movie for kids.

The leading cows are charming and charismatic, but the story is wasted in an inconsenquential amount of animated comedy clichés. It could've been a much more meaningful tale, maybe even touching. But it isn't.

Disney had struggled with its animated features being hit-or-miss in the 5 years before this. This one put the nail in the coffin for Disney's 2-d animation... not because there's anything wrong with 2-d animation, mind you, but because Michael Eisner blamed that as the reason this film fails. Uh, no. This fails because it has silly songs, no deeply moving plot, and it caters to young kids only... no broader audience. Skip it.

The music was okay. The plot and C-list celebrity voice overs was not.

The last dying gasps of Disney's run on classic cartoons, before Pixar took over for several years. Nothing really good or noteable about it, the humor is rather bad and the film as a whole feels bland.

It was very lighthearted and had some occasional bits of derp and it's fair share of bad puns. However, it was very entertaining all through out and most of the humor hits its mark. The visuals are pretty good too. I like the film a lot.

I love Roseanne, so I was hoping to like this movie. But it's about cows and doesn't make very much sense.

Very thin, weak and disappointing. Esp. knowing what it was originally going to be.
