What a fucking mess and technically confusing story. Also, racist. Why not.

Pretty dismal childrens fare. Brand is mostly annoying. The musical numbers seemed forced and half-assed. The one bright spot is Marsden.

A disappointment for sure. The movie trailer for this pretty much showed all the funniest parts. So the actual movie itself didn't add much. The story was also pretty lame. James Marsden can't find a job and E.B. played by Russell Brand doesn't want his job as the Easter Bunny. Oh no what will they do?! I think they said this came from the creators of Despicable Me, but maybe they just threw the idea out, because I know that they couldn't have made this movie. Sadly I can't get my time back.

There is nothing good to say about this film. The Bernstein Bears Easter Special is a better representation of Easter media. I hate everyone involved in this farce, but especially James Marsden, whom I never want to see working in the industry again. I now know why they killed Cyclops off in the X-Men series.

A film that insults the intelligence of the people it is aimed at, carelessly ignoring the rules of its own universe just to shoehorn in some jokes and tropes and then never confronting the problems they create. Also trying to make Easter the same as Christmas (The Easter Bunny delivers eggs to all the boys and girls in the world in one night, on an egg shaped sleigh, with magic flying baby chicks) just shows what lack of imagination the script writers had.

I hate looking at James Marsden and listening to Russel Brand. I watched like 15 minutes of this.

While it's funny in parts, the story seems a bit too over-simplify for the sake of marketing as a children's film.

It was too much of candy for my taste, both visual and the story. "I Want Candy", sang Bow Wow Wow in 80's.

There's some entertainment, but mostly quite bad.

Great animation and a few very good jokes which did make me laugh out loud. But that's it. Nothing else redeeming. The story is rather awful, and through a good bit of the movie E.B. was so obnoxious I couldn't get to like him. And the ending... it takes a weak story and makes it unbearable.

Not good at all but still better than most recent kids/family films out there. I don't like "Russell Brand" and he almost ruins it but surprisingly enough "James Marsden" saves it by sheer force of will.

'Russell...Russell...sorry to wake you, just wanted to remind you of the time you were trying to make an acting career for yourself and you decided to voice an animated rabbit in only-slightly-worse-than-Despicable Me-movie; Hop, in which you sang...you sang...and I believe this is verbatim...'I Want Candy'...sweet dreams!'

Pure fluff. Plot is lighter than a bunny's tail. Marsden throws himself into the lead role and he tries so hard to save the movie that it's almost cute to watch. Everything else abut the film is one-note. Another reviewer here put it succinctly: it's an Christmas movie set in Easter. Someone's eventually going to hit on the formula, I guess. This isn't it, but it's.... something.

1 Paskalya animasyonu.

Pure garbage. The main characters are hardly sympathetic & the plot makes zero sense, even for a kid's movie. After seeing it once, I would not subject my child to this forced & unnatural "comedy" ever again. It's a shame, because talent is involved. James Marsden does a bit with his underdeveloped character, but Russell's 'Brand' of humor just doesn't translate. Everyone else merely occupies space. Also, Fred's moment of realization is ridiculous & likining Easter to Christmas was a mistake.

Q: Easter Bunny - "Why are n't you surprised to see a talking rabbit?" A: David Hasselhoff - "Because my best friend is a talking car"

Years ago, in her wiser days, my youngest refused to watch this. Good call 3yo. CGI to live-action blend is respectable, as is Hugh Laurie's surprisingly emotional voice work. Everything else goes from shambles to disrespecting the audience. Russell Brand goes for bland, Marsden constantly looks like he's sleepwalking through this exercise, and the script is just a waste. Seriously, the Blind Boys of Alabama?

Had more potential than it decided to execute through the thin plot. Marsden tries his hardest but this script is beyond saving. I am not even sure any moment actually amused me.

This is basically an X-mas film set in Easter. It seems to be almost universally panned, but I thought that it works surprisingly well, and it's a small wonder that it doesn't have much competition in the Easter-set family films genre. Sure, it turns Easter into this candy filled version of X-mas, but I don't mind having the option to watch something light between Passion / Last Temptation of Christ.

Not great, but kids will enjoy. A fun without much content.
