Let's hope to see more of him in the years to come, but , please with better SFX.

This movie ends unbelievably sad! The great Hornblower and his heroic deeds, undone by a simple woman and his sense of duty! It's just horrible to watch! On a more serious note: It's more of heroics. The old fashion kinda story-telling is sort of refreshing. But even though this is the last in the series, you're not really sad to see Hornblower go, and so, at the end of the day the series is an enjoyable, but rather two-dimensional and superficial experience.

A fine story to end the series on, though I wish they would continue.
