It doesn't do all it could with the premise, but there are a lot of cool scenes to behold. The royalists try retaking power, and Hornblower is met with a particularly nasty noble. The love story is hastened and folly, sadly.

This one can be a bit frustrating. Much of the time is taken up in a cat-and-mouse game that doesn't have the most satisfying resolution.
