Summary: The driver races to locate a kidnapped victim locked in the trunk of an abandoned car somewhere on the water's edge. Linked to her only by cell phone, the driver narrows in on her location in a desperate race against time and tide. (imdb)
Amazing that even in an 8 minute short, Woo produces a highly stylish, cool-looking movie...with a litany of plot holes, continuity, and idiotic errors. Police instantly start chasing Clive Owen out of nowhere, (and the FBI guys with him can't be bothered to make a single phone call) then disappear just as suddenly when the film requires it. No, you can't open a closed trunk underwater. The central plot with the affair makes no sense, either. It looked cool, though!
You would think a short film funded by a huge corporation and directed by a washed up director would be terrible but it's just average. It was just an excuse to show how badass a beamer is and then they were like oh yeah, lets add a story! (which was stupid)
