Summary: Three young Americans studying abroad in Rome set off for a weekend trip when they run into a beautiful model from their art class. Also on her way to an exotic destination, the gorgeous European invites the coeds to come along. Will the girls find the oasis they are looking for? A very impressive sequel to the 2005 smash 'Hostel' with the focus being on three female tourists this time instead of three male tourists. There are a few characters back from the first but its mostly a new crop of people, but the storyline runs similar as the girls soon realize Slovakia isn't all its cracked up to be. Once again its very gruesome which should please Horror fans, and the storyline flows rather well. Overall its just as good as the first and another great Horror film :D

If you hated the first Hostel, you'll love this. It's still gore-porn, but the story and universe are far better. A must see if you're a fan of gore-porn.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work like the first one did. I'm not even sure why Roth made this. The first one had a good dose of cerebral horror going on, but this is little more than a hollow attempt at milking its success by being even more pointlessly exploitative.
