This is one of Harrington's enjoyable, atmospheric TV movies, adapted by _Baby Jane_ author Farrell from his own novel. Perkins is good in a tailor-made role. This has plot elements looking forward to _Psycho II_ and effectively claustrophobic photography and set design.

Sort of like Hitchcock-lite. The premise is pretty cool, and there are some mildly suspenseful moments. Unfortunately it lacks any real flair, and is pretty predictable.
