A cute and clever rom-com that benefits enormously from Matthau's charming performance as Einstein. The scene where he and his buddies help Tim Robbins' character pass the IQ test is hilarious. Plus, Meg Ryan.

This is a cute movie that, to be honest, works largely due to the "old guy squad."

I have a soft spot in my heart for this one. A clever mechanic who can show up a pompous prick with the help of Albert Einstein and his crew is OK in my book.

It's a neat love story, about the actions of boy meets girl, fate and love, and Albert Einstien's convertible. Throw in a comet and a few wacky physicists, well, it's just pure fun. I wish to heck I could find the score somewhere; the blend of do-wap and Mozart is as much fun as the movie itself.

I mean holy shit. Why have I seen so many Meg Ryan movies and why have I blocked them all out of my memory until now.

Gravity. It's a killer. IQ stars a completely lovable Meg Ryan, in a romantic comedy that I think is better than Sleepless in Seattle. The development of the attraction and romance of Meg and Tim Robbins is enormous fun to watch. The entire Albert Einstein and has band of merry men side-story is hilarious - Walter Matthau in one of his best roles. This is a film you can watch time and again and never tire of it.

How did I end up watching this? I guess it's fine as far as romcoms go.

I liked Meg Ryan and Matthau so it wasn't really a bad experience, but there's no denying the silliness and blandness of the whole thing.

There's nothing new or particularly impressive here, but it's very pleasant and sweet.

proof of two things, 1.) in '94 not all romantic comedies sucked, and 2.) if einstein is envolved a romantic comedy is instantly better. it also has tim robbins and that's always a plus.

Forgettable comedy. I like Walter Matthau, but he's no Einstein.

Meg Ryan acting that early-20's naive chick yet again. It was stale when she actually "was" still in her early-20's.

Lame-brained rom com featuring those lovable scamps Albert Einstein, Kurt Gödel, Nathan Liebknecht, and Boris Podolsky scheming to set up Einstein's niece, Meg Ryan, with Tim Robbins. Tim, you are so much better than this... I hope you got paid a LOT of money.

The premise is kinda stupid. Not to mention that it's a romantic comedy. But... science? Just doesn't quite make it.

God fuck I hate Meg Ryan. This would have been so much better if Einstein and the Old Guy Brigade weren't more than supporting actors in a plot that revolved around sentimental mediocrity.

Yes this is a chick flick, but for whatever reason I actually like it.

This is another sweet Meg Ryan romantic comedy. She really excels with this genre. This time Tim Robbins is helped by Walter Matthau (Einstein) to woo Meg Ryan. It's not as good as some of her other work, but I enjoyed it.
