One of my all time fave Saturday morning cartoons, I never even realized they were supposed to be gophers. My sisters and I just referred to them as "the polite chipmunks" and screamed to each other across the house whenever one of their shorts was on. We loved those little guys. Their over the top good manners always got a laugh from us.

A unique and amusing short. The gophers talk with a more erudite vocabulary than in most Looney Tunes shorts, which is both a funny and welcome change. In addition to that, there is no comical antagonist here. The gophers are the only two characters present, suffering comical misadventures in a food factory, narrowly avoiding death from its dangerous machinery. It's all quite entertaining and fast-paced, but watching it now, just like I did when I was 9 years old, I can't call it "funny".
