It starts off extremely entertaining, but once it gets past the halfway point -- and any attempt at continuity goes out of the window -- it becomes a little too simplistic for its own good. The old guard are as good as ever (for better or for worse), but the new attempts at festive characters rather let the side down.

Like with all of the Ice Age stories the most successful character was Sid. The story was an usual Christmas story, but I liked the idea of D.I.Y. Christmas presents. And then again there was birches and northern lights; the Father Christmas was living in Finland already during Ice Age (despite the map in the end was clearly out of it's place)!
