Summary: An anthropologist who is part of an arctic exploration team discovers the body of a prehistoric man who is still alive. He must then decide what to do with the prehistoric man and he finds himself defending the creature from those that want to dissect it in the name of science. (imdb)

It's not the greatest flick, and it doesn't really hold up to multiple viewings, but this story of a prehistoric man frozen in ice and brought back to life absolutely captivated me as a kid. I loved seeing the Iceman's reactions to witnessing modern people and technology. The message is pretty heavy handed, but the experience had a lasting effect on me...I grew up and got a degree in anthropology.

Nice of them to do an sf film that has nothing to do with rockets or aliens or anything, but it's not quite as moving or as poignant as the filmmakers hoped it would be
