I could kind of deal with the fact that they're all different split personalities, but then they totally lost me with the even cheesier twist. Most notable for a decent cast and the fact that this could very well have been Donald Kaufman's lost script.

A thriller that is neither stupid (like most ie. "Panic Room"), nor a deep as a puddle. Ends up being a love it or hate it kind of movie, most people can't appreciate the ending like I did.

Too clever by half, but the direction is brisk and intelligent, Cusack, Peet, and Hawkes deliver excellent performances, and the rest of the cast is good too.

Identity is an interesting film that I stumbled upon. The concept at the outset feels generic but as the plot unravels and the suspense kicks in, this is a reasonably thought provoking thriller. Love or hate the ending, on first viewing I never would of predicted it. Looking back though it's a slightly annoying ending and I feel a little cheated. The cast is pretty good, Cusack and Liotta do enough to carry the film. And Molina popping up every now and then is always a winner. Worth a watch.

A promising start that crashes and burns before your eyes. Gets a few things modestly right, and I dig the cast, but I...I just can't get behind this movie. The twist is a total fucking cheat not to mention completely unintentionally hilarious. This cast deserves better material. This viewer deserves a better movie.

Obvious twist is obvious. Seriously, I ain't the sharpest tool in the box, but I saw it coming a mile off. And then again with the twist-upon-a-twist at the end. Actually, if you were surprised by anything that happened in this film, please send me a private message because I know a Nigerian prince who's in a spot of financial trouble and would like to make your acquaintance...

Competent thriller, with a good premise that Mangold doesn't quite exploit to its full potential. Cusack, Liotta & Co are all pretty good, and the harrowing atmosphere is well created and maintained. Minor plot holes aside, the twists are well presented if not well hidden, and personally I'm not sure if I liked the ending, but at least it was pleasingly tragic. Solid entertainment.

Decent little suspense film that could've been way better had the directing focused less on all the crazy twists and more on entertainment. If we've learned nothing else from Goodfellas it's this: never trust Ray Liotta. A great Leonard Maltin game candidate.

Its both somehow terrible and not. Eh, i actually enjoyed watching it, and i suppose the dumber aspects of it are actually explained away a bit logically, if you think about it (once you know why in the end). I'd say its worth a watch, and try not to run away the first time you see something "dumb". it all comes together, although maybe a bit silly.

Quite good twist, avarage acting. Ending is really a bit too fast done. Nevertheless it's plot forces you to keep up with watching till last second. There could be more scenes from court connecting murders and victims so that you could know them better(only few of them got a bit developed, others are just "there"). Overall good thriller to watch before sleep.

Introduces us with an immediate plot hole with the cell phone battery being available to make a call, which would have prevented most of the characters being able to meet. Characters that were single layered stereotypes by the way. Then there's the killer twist which leaves more questions unanswered. You've seen this film before, just not compiled in this order.

Ick. The god-awful twist at the end produces some HUGE plot holes that make everything that came before it... impossible. Stylish enough until then. Whatever happened to just telling a story without jumping around time in a completely nonsensical way? I suppose it suggests the intellectual chaos of the plot effectively, but I can do without it.

Mangold tends to give good, different roles to underappreciated actors. I know a lot of people hated this movie, but I thought it was a lot of fun. It's tense and horrible when it needs to be, but there are also some very funny scenes. Most of all, it's simply a fun group of actors to see together--Cusack, Peet, and Liotta in particular.
