Summary: Angel is a selfish, abusive, morally bankrupt man who hangs out as his local bar, berating the other patrons. One day, Angel mysteriously wakes up with a pair of wings on his back. The wings make him do good deeds, contrary to his nature. He desperately tries to rid himself of the good wings, but eventually finds himself fighting those who view the wings as their ticket to fame and fortune. (imdb)
Plympton's strongest so far, at least story-wise. The brilliant visual gags don't come as fast and hard as his other features and certainly not as the shorts, but they're there and a welcome companion to the noirish visuals and moralistic story.
Average. A bad, selfish man grows wings and then has them stolen and in the process turns good. The animation is beautiful, its just that its too moody, lacks that oomph. Just didn't click with me, found it over-long and boring. You might like it, watch the trailer first.
