Summary: A construction worker takes charge of the daughter of a fellow worker killed in an accident. He brings the girl to New York to try to find her uncle. When he finds him, he discovers that the uncle has spent his life savings on a restaurant that turns out to be a worthless dive. He's determined to help the girl and her uncle make the restaurant a success. (imdb)
