The Accused perform this song on their classic album _More Fun Than An Open Casket Funeral_. I always figured it was a cover of something, but I never knew of what 'til I saw this. More to the point -- at some points this toon is a bit less than inspired, but betweeen the Fleischers' animation, Betty Boop, and Louis Armstrong, how could you *not* like it?

Koko and Bimbo, those names, just hilarious. Quiet unthinkable today.

Max and Dave do it again, a Betty Boop cartoon that's actually a brilliant surrealistic music video for brilliant music. Louis Armstrong's gigantic, bodiless head chases Koko and Bimbo around while singing "I'll be glad when you're dead you rascal you" - I'm sorry, but to me that's just pure bliss.
