A cool neat little film, I just wish it dived a little bit deeper. Bonus points for the good music and awesome FX.

Love as measured by self-sacrifice - I first thought the film was coming down a little too aggressively in support of it. But then I thought again and saw an earnest little story, nonjudgmental but honest, using its visual concept as the perfect metaphor for the feelings it wishes to illuminate.

"Don't I have a choice?" "No"

It wasn't very upliftig for me if Spike Jonze was aiming for that. But if he was aiming for "don't be an idiot, you shouldn't be ridiculously sacrificing know where to draw the line" than he was right on point.

Crec que és personal i està ben fet però, tal i com em va passar a where the wild things are, trobo que és cau en l'emoció massa fàcil, sensiblona, musiqueta accessible, poca excentricitat, la seva visió em sembla simple perquè es parla amb una visió molt semblant a cada cinta.

Archetypal endeavour that feels rather incomplete though I loved Kimmel's use of natural light which creates an intimate atmosphere and the facial VFX seem to have become Jonze's trademark signature. Cute and technically outstanding, but nothing more.

A small masterpiece about robot existentialism. I love me some Spike Jonze.

It's cute and I liked it, but even as someone who's rather jaded it seems like such a negative view of love that it kind of bothered me and felt lacking.

I didn't expect such a heartbreaking love story from a robot couple. Spike Jonze is awesome.

Interesting work of realist sci-fi, like I Robot meets 500 Days of Summer. The awesome effects on the robot's faces reminded me of Spike Jonze's also-terrific work with the Wild Things' faces in Where the Wild Things Are.

Expertly made, but ultimately the story feels soulless, like an unfinished experiment in effects. Pity.

This short went straight to my heart in a matter of minutes. What an amazing experience. Sheldon's dream was the most heartachingly beautiful moment for me, but there are several. the whole feel of the film is so genuine, so sincere...It is extremely well-written and I wish I could see more. badly.

Nicely done reflection on sacrifice and, well, compatibility, but rather too cutesy and schmaltzy for my tastes.

This was a really interesting concept - it felt like the kind of thing Jonze would usually use for a music video. Very sweet, with some of the happier moments (as well as the amazing facial VFX) reminding me a lot of Where the Wild Things Are.

Fall in love with robots, now - No, Now!

Simplisticly and honestly, this moving short film portrays love in a beautiful way. With the use of robots, Spike Jonze skillfully displays how love litterally can melt two beings together.
