Robin-hood meets Bonnie and Clyde set in Occupy Wall Street, dystopian-style. Still, very fun.

Andrew Niccol: "Holy s..t, I found a great idea!" (before start writing). "Hmmm it seemed a better idea at first. But close enough. Nevermind." (after directing). I'm sad this movie sucks cause main concept is just great. I'm tired of Hollywood's terrible executions of such premising ideas. And also acting, characters, story-telling and directing is... just.. nevermind...

Very cool story and an awesome beginning of the movie! After that the movie is kind of slow (boring) and predictable. They should have put more emphasis on the cool idea and less on the 'cat and mouse'-chase aspect.

This was a great Action-packed film thanks to a strong lead like Justin Timberlake and one very creative concept. Having people pay and live by time on their arms is such a clever idea and pulled off very well in this movie. Amanda Seyfried is also a fine female lead, and she looks totally different to what she normally does. Overall a brilliant film with plenty to keep you entertained, and easily one of the most creative ideas for a film that I have seen in a long time!

Never does enough to warrant being taken seriously. Everything just feels very undercooked! The concept has potential, but is filled with holes and is generally underdeveloped. Exactly the same can be said of the characters and the plot. It's certainly not awful, but lacks any weight or meaning, leaving you with quite a hollow experience. A special mention has to go to the script however, which is just terrible! Overall its languid, shallow and unsatisfying, but I didn't outright hate it.

movie is really quite lame, makes very little sense, and feels kinda like they were making it up as they go along. there's a germ of a good idea in there and the screenplay just goes way the hell out of its way to not find it.

I really appreciate an ambitious sci-fi movie and they really tried here. It has its own style, a fresh idea, it wasn't TOTALLY action, it had decent actors... but the concept was just kind of weak. As were the conclusions draw from it. As were the awful time-related puns. As was Timberlake's goofy running style, like he was a robot or something. Oh well

Robin Hood with a sci-fi twist and a cast that is entirely made up of fashion models. The premise is kinda fun (in a stupid way) but the makers just don't find anything interesting to do with it. So you could say this movie was a waste... of my time. Hyuck, hyuck.

As with all films of Niccols, this has a brilliant set-up, an intriguing concept and an interesting theme but is let down by annoying, tounge-in-cheek dialogue. It is like a curse that hangs over Andrews head that he can grab head-turning film concepts out of thin air but can't materialize them at all. There is nothing concretely bad about this movie; it is just so bland; Timberlake and Seyfried are on par but never above it but with Niccols flair for bad dialogue, I don't blame them.
