Fairly somber mix of gangsters and horror that sometimes resembles Lon's early hit _Man-Made Monster_. Has its good points and bad, the worst being the awful "Dragnet"-style narration. "McHale's Navy" star Joe Flynn has a small part as Shayne's assistant.

Two bad movies rolled into one: lots of crime-movie cliches and lots of horror cliches, despite the short runtime. Lon Chaney Jr. was a great actor, and it is really sad to see him working in junk like this in the later years of his career

Bad taste horror, but Lon Chaney is good even if it looks like he's recovering from DTs. The finale is a shallow ripoff of The Third Man.
