Summary: Mumbai city Police Commissioner David & Home Minister K.G. Menon bring up a small time crook, Kannan Nair (Mohanlal), to compete with the reigning underworld don, Carlose (Rajan P. Dev). Although Kannan initially turns down the offer, when he learns that Carlose was also his father Ayyappan Nair's (Balan K. Nair) killer, he takes up the challenge to bring Carlose down.
