For an action/suspense thriller this is some fine directing. It is fast-paced, edited with great precision, looks gritty and stylish with authentic locations and extras. The big letdown however is the story, which is pretty derivative, weak and laughable. Unconvincing dialogue and a preposterously unlikely series of unfortunate events lead it quickly into silliness. Entertaining but stupid and forgettable. The director might do better next time round but the writer and actors maybe not.

Gratuitous. OK, if you had no idea there was an organ shortage, I guess this film will drive that point home and "eduacate" you. But the scenes of the father being abused in Mexico while seeking lungs for his daughter are absolutely unnecessary and don't do anything to aid the cause of organ donation. Or advance the story or make the viewer want to continue watching. This film really angered me, for it could have been meaningful but was instead a pile of manipulative drivel.

pretty good actually! Low budget but good acting and a very well written story!
