This was my first Leslie Cheung movie so I guess it says a lot about his acting in it as I couldn't help but be interested in seeing more from him after finishing it. Unfortunately, despite the great acting, the movie loses its way in the latter half. The dark past that is revealed just left little impact on me and it almost felt like a waste. Overall, worth a watch and better than the average thriller but it definitely is lacking and disappointing.
