He's no Peter Sellers but the underrated Alan Arkin does a great job in the role. Nice one.

The final third of the film is a big letdown. It's as if it's made of two scripts. The topnotch Pink Panther humor makes the first 2/3rds, the final third is a third-rate heist movie. Still enjoyable overall.
