A harrowing film that can at time be overbearing, Into the Wild is a heart wrenching look into the life of a man with no nation. A host of interesting cameos and subtle performances pushes this one into the realm of greatness.

Great and inspiring storing, involving but not as much as I had thought. However the acting is great, the scenery breathtaking and the story of the kind that doesn't let you go, I had the feeling something was missing.

A rather brilliant film about a young man who leaves his life behind to live in the wilderness of Alaska. Emile Hirsch is outstanding as Christopher McCandless, the main character in the film, and portrays him very well (its based on a true story by the way). I also feel that I really relate to McCandless, which I dont think I have ever done with a film character before. Overall it really is a brilliant film and one that really seems to hit close to home with me and I would highly reccomend it.
