The moral of the story is that you should give your industries over to the military even in peacetime or the Commies will get you. The naked power-grab makes this one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen, and for all the wrong reasons.

A fairly nice idea, but unfortunately not much happens except a lot of stock footage plays. Then the "dream" wrapup (complete with moral) gives the whole proceedings a training-film taint. The Cubs scene is completely hilarious though, even without MST accompaniment, and Castle is quite lovely to look at. My favorite MST line: "Hello, you're on K-WAR." Also: "That's not so funny when it's true, George."

Great B cast (including *two* Lois Lanes!) and odd shocking plot twist, but the ridiculous surprise ending and enough stock footage for three Ed Wood movies made it tough to navigate.

It'd be hilarious if it weren't so disturbing seeing US cities blowing up. "Give blood or the communists win" never sounded so earnest.

Terrible.

And they woke up, realizing it was all a dream ...!

Moderately interesting premise botched beyond belief.
