Summary: Anupama (Manju Warrier), born into a wealthy family, leaves everything to marry Rajeevan (Jayaram) despite her family's stiff opposition. Later they have twin boys, but Rajeevan gives up one child to childless couple Venugopal (Murali) & Devi (Urmila Unni), without Anupama's knowledge, after Devi had had her 4th miscarriage. However, overcome with guilt, Rajeevan confides to Anupama, but a livid Anupama leaves home & gives Rajeevan an ultimatum to only come see her after getting her baby back. (by iceblox)
