I LOVED THIS MOVIE. Robbing Terrance Howard of the Sequel sucks. Though Cheadle of course is nothing to sneeze at. Downey Jr and Paltrow are wonderful together. Tech genius makes good! Doesn't hurt Downey resembles the reviewer.
Very well done. I'm not sure why it took Marvel so long to figure out how to do a comic book movie the right way, but they finally did it. Some of the acting was a bit lacking, but the story more than made up for it. If there was one shining moment in the whole movie, it was the segment after the credits.
05 Mayis 08, flyinn 16:30 & izlerken egledim fakat ilk bir saat karakeri taniyoruz ve bu sure biraz fazla geldi.Film bitiminde bir seylerin eksik oldugunu farkediyorsunuz.Evet, aksiyon izlemek icin gelmissiniz fakat yeterince aksiyon goremiyorsunuz.Sanirim tek hayal kirikligim bu oldu.Robert Downey tercihi iyi olmus.
I admit that I slept part of the movie, it was so boring story. It took way too long time they reached the very Iron Man costume. The final fight looked nice. There was no spark between Downey Jr. and Paltrow what so ever. Then again Paltrow was nothing special in the story at all. Check equivalent part, Speed Racer's Cosma Shiva Hagen (Gennie's part); she's hot! Iron Man looks like an improved metallic version of Batman.
Robert Downey Jr. has certainly grown on me over the years. I think Downey does an excellent job in the lead role. The supporting cast is good and the plot is interesting. There might be too much story for die hard action fans, but I think the story really helped make the movie good.
Another blockbuster based on a marvel super-hero (one of my favourites from the time when I read comic books). The film delivers well, but seems to lack character development, especially on Stark. Maybe on future films.
Right up until The Dark Knight was released, Iron Man was easily the most intelligent comic book adaptation I'd yet seen. Despite having a mammoth budget, director John Favre has the presence of mind to keep the film character-driven with some intelligent, charming and witty dialogue. Even so, the special effects are top-notch and the action scenes do not disappoint. Last, but not least, Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark. Kudos to him.
