Sophie Hartley (Susan Sarandon) is convinced that she is being stalked. This felt like a made-for-TV movie.

A throwback to Fatal Attraction/Hand That Rocks The Cradle-type thrillers, this has a good cast but is let down by TV movie quality filmmaking. A shame, because I miss these sort of psychological dramas.

Susan Sarandon gives a good performance. I liked bits and pieces. It suffers from poor writing and a general lack of imagination. The title suggests a different movie and did not fit. Emily Blunt was beautiful but like Sam Neill could not save their dull roles. This movie had potential to be much better. Good twist at the end, but it was handled badly. A mediocre movie with nothing much new or memorable. A long slow burn up to an unsatisfying finish, and confusing and overly subtle final scenes.

Even Susan Sarandon couldn't save this stinker.....Nonsense "thriller", that's been done a million times, (all of them probably better than this one). Cast do their best with the material, but I suspect none will have it on their resume............

Nothing too new or unusual, but if you're in the market for a psychological thriller replete with a standard quota of game-shifting twists, Irresistible might just be your cup of movie.

A movie that was made for TV. Dramatic, sexy, and attention grabbing at times but compared to other thrillers it's below average.
