Summary: Puthanpurackal Appukuttan Nair (Thilakan), a superstitious man lives by the words of family astrologer Narayana Panicker (Jagathi), while his son Madhavanunni (Jayaram) lives in the memory of his deceased wife. Madhavanunni later meets, & gets close to Malini (Sithara), who was his childhood friend & they marry soon after, with everyone's blessings. Their happiness is short lived however, when Malini reveals by mistake that her horoscope, upon which their marriage was based on, isn't accurate. (by iceblox)
