Its a TV film but a very good one. James Dean is a terrific and very interesting character/subject matter. Franco is pitch perfect.

Franco is phenomenal in this role that does a great job of showing who Dean was (to those of you who don't hero-worship him like me). Even better if you've seen his films, it's pulled off quite well.

I feel guilty somehow saying that the production value of this wasn't all that great, but it just wasn't very good. James Dean's films have meant a lot and his story deserves much more than this TV movie.

Why is James Franco so misscast and in such shitty movies, he is such an amazing actor, as seen in this brilliant made for TV biopic. Great. just Great.
