Summary: Balachandran (Murali), son of martyred communist leader Azheekkal Raghavan (Narendra Prasad), grows up to be an honest politician, but gets framed for murder by corrupt party secretary Lukose (Sukumaran) & spends 5 years in jail. Coming out, Balachandran rises to prominence & acquires wealth with a vengeance, through illicit means. Finally, he gets a shot at being the Chief Minister of the state, using money & muscle.
