Been a long while since I've seen it. I remember liking it when I saw it 22 years ago.

Zucker-esque spy spoof with a fair amount of decent gags but unenthusiastic performances.

Poor,See Sam Raimi's "Crime Wave" for an example of how this sort of film should be done and what funny is.

Parts of this are extremely funny, and I love a lot of the sight gags, but for some reason, I felt like this movie really dragged on too long.

This movie made me want to go into organized crime. Then I decided it wasn't for me so I opened a pet shop instead.

At one point in time, I would have sworn that the next big star was going to be Michael Keaton, yet he never delivered on the early promise shown in this movie.

Garbage, with an occasional chuckle thrown in for good measure.

Most of the gags are really simple which is probably why I liked this so much more when I was younger. Really made me wonder why Joe Piscopo didn't have a better career, he was really hilarious in this.

A dull, featureless, forgettable comedy with a few sight gags early in and not much else worth remembering.

Feh. American comedy was really beginning to die right about this time, and here's a good example of its death throes.

If I had seen it when I was younger I would've loved it.

i was 12 when this came out, and it was hysterical. i have since grown older, and so this film is nowhere near as funny as i thought it was. however, that will not stop me from calling someone a fargin icehole every once in a while, or threatening someone with "my mother did that to me once. ONCE!!"

Great spoof of Gangster films that hearkens to a better time. People are too afraid to make good screwball comedies these days because people are too afraid to like good screwball comedies these days.

I'd score it higher, but a lot of the jokes are getting too dated to be funny. Having to spend 10 minutes looking things up kills the humor.

I bought this movie before ever having seen it, because it had Michael Keaton, tommy guns, and it was six dollars. It turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises I've ever given myself. It's a wonderful spoof, and it's got a great cast. Really good!

A slick, funny parody of the 1930's gangster era, featuring a terrific performance by Michael Keaton, Joe Piscopo as a bizarre, hilarious villain, and a great supporting cast including Danny DeVito and Dom DeLuise. It's a tremendous flurry of anachronisms, sight gags, physical comedy, and some damn memorable one-liners. Hell, even the musical portions are excellent. A very underrated comedy.
