Brendan Fraser's films want to make me laugh out loud and they arent even supposed to be funny at all. Fraser's films carry about them this false bravado. He has this smugness about him and this self confidence and really in my opinion he has yet to prove he can anything worth my time. This film had nothing at all going for it, it was immatture and the characters were so low key I didnt even feel like they could even be real at all. I felt no positive energy or sadness from this bland film,

Waste of potential with mediocre acting and a rushed story, but it at least offers some decent thrills and bits of cheesy enjoyment.

Silly remake, actually has decent production values.

Silly and very standard family romp. But Fraser has his charms.

Terrible cgi and pointy-floaty 3D trash compound awful acting, directing and editing. Why add a third dimension and then shovel it full of shit.

Somewhat enjoyable in 3D, but the plot is terrible and a suspension of disbelief can only get so far.

Poor remake which passes the time.

Good, not great, family adventure. The follow on rather than remake approach worked well and has obvious franchise possibilities

An entertaining family adventure flick that is pretty simplistic in plot but visually looks pretty good and would have been even better if I saw it in 3D. The three characters were likeable as were the actors portraying them, and being a fan of Brendan Fraser already he was perfect for this film. It is probably aimed at a younger audience, although very young children may get quite scared, but adults can still enjoy it just as much. Overall an enjoyable film to watch and worth a look!

Really good family film. I couldn't find better film to sit down with my family and just chill and have fun. Only thing that pointed out too offen was that 3D shit. I really hate 3D for lots of reasons. But I liked, my family liked and couldn't ask anything else from family adventure film.
