Summary: Jealous of his wifes love for another man, a teacher from her high school, a man brutally kills his wife and young son. Searching for the son who has missed a lot of school, the teacher enters their house, only to find the dead ghost of his mother, and consequently has a heart attack and becomes a ghost himself. The story goes on to tell of the new tenants of the house and what they experience, and an investigation by two police officers into why so many people are dissapearing. (imdb)

Creepy throat noises and some fairly effective atmosphere make this ok. Much better than the American version.

OK until the end. Without giving too much away, in this sort of story, I prefer a character who is brave and bold to have a happier ending than what happens here.

Decent for the budget it had. If your a big fan of horror films, this is a good one to see because it is one of the inspiring movies that influenced many newer Hollywood horror movies such as The Grudge (which is a direct remake of Ju-On), The Ring, Shutter, or any movie of that style of horror.

Filmé en DV et se déroulant en chapitres, le film essaie d'effrayer comme il peut : souvent avec des miaulement de chats (ce que personnellement je trouve plutôt mignon mais bon...). Le film est assez peu explicatif sur les tenants et aboutissements des fantômes, mais chaque segments de l'histoire se déroulant de la même façon on comprend vite le principe et on en est vite ennuyé.
