Summary: In a standard comic book dystopian near-future Americans are ensconced in mega-cities which protect them from the desolation of the world outside, and the peace is kept by The Judges. This elite group who upholds "The Law" is police, jury, and executioner all in one. Well I never read the comic and I doubt it would help me enjoy this if I did. Acting is nothing short of horrendous from pretty much everyone except Max von Sydow. Sets and costumes are kind of neat but they in no way make this movie worth seeing.

Never read the comics, went into the movie with low expectations, was only 15 or so when I saw it = Not the worst movie I've ever seen. A good "background movie" that you can put on while you do other things around the house and glance at it every now and then.
