Summary: After the death of his altruist father, Roy Varghese (Mammootty) agrees to continue anonymously sponsoring Sherly (Shobana), a bright orphan student. Sherly ends up going to the same college as Roy's niece Mercy (Sabitha Anand), & they get introduced. Roy recognizes Sherly, but Sherly falls in love with Roy, not knowing that he is her sponsor. Roy backs off citing their age gap & tries to make Sherly fall for his friend's brother Baby (Rahman), but a determined Sherly tries to win Roy over. (by iceblox)
