Summary: Writer Balachandran's (Mammootty) uneventful life gets a jolt when a known literary figure, C.P. (Nedumudi Venu), praises his unfinished novel as the new voice of Malayalam literature. Sivadasan (Mukesh), a small-time publisher, befriends Balachandran & motivates him to complete the book, also hoping to get the rights to publish it. But when Balachandran experiences writer's block, an extra impetus is provided by the return of his old sweetheart Padma (Khushboo), just separated from her husband. (by iceblox)
