Summary: Middle-aged couple Unnithan (Prem Nazir) & Ammini Kutty (Lakshmi) leads a love–hate relationship, with Unnithan constantly frustrated by Ammini's references to her father's wealth & grandeur, with their grownup daughters Sarala (Jalaja) & Parvathi (Poornima Jayaram) often playing the mediators to establish peace.
