I made the mistake of watching this once when it came out many years ago, so I don't remember much. It seems to me the director basically wanted to do a porno with teenagers, but didn't want to be known as a porn director, so he mixed it in with some drama and passed it off as "art" instead. Sort of like putting mustard in your coffee, I'm sure some people like it but I found it disgusting and completely out of place.

Credit for trying to tackle big issues with realism I guess, but this is just garbage.

just brutal.... i hated it. youll get to see a guy jerk off with a rope around his neck and cream all over himself and then watch his dad whip his cock out and take a piss. not my kind of movie and i tend to like larry clark films.

Interesting moments of life, but as a decent story or a film entirety a big failure. The theme of lost connection between kids and their parents goes on. Some good separate scenes.

Like almost everything Clark and Korine touch, its full of young people fucking. These filmmakers creep me out, which may be their complete intention , in which case; Bravo creepers, bravo.

Same story, different angles. It's like a sequel to Kids (1995)

Along the lines of Kids and Gummo with more of a middle class feel. Less realistic then the later because of the sexual experiences.

Okay, with some good performances. I can see why the Family first people got it banned here, though that just made the film more interesting. If you saw kids, then you pretty much know what to expect

There really is nothing good about it. This whole movie is just a bad excuse for a few provocative scenes.

While tennis chicks are incredibly hot, this was not.

A movie made solely for its shock value. 3 way teen sex, teen pregnancy, self strangulation and masturbation, sex with adults, father molesting his son, teenager murdering his grandparents and suicide. It is implausible that such a small group of friends would have so many horrendous problems. This town would be the nut case capitol of the world if it existed. Naked Maeve Quinlan was super hot, the others are just kids which makes this mostly just sick and disturbing.

I needed many, many showers to wash the stink off after I watched this movie.
