Summary: A teenager has dreams of falling that feel more real than his actual life. He turns to the internet for answers and receives some cryptic replies via his PC. In school his mobile phone rings despite being turned off, he answers to be told by Neo that "they know you know and are coming for you". The kid looks out the window to see men in dark suits coming for him and immediately flees on his skateboard. (imdb)

The story of this Animatrix short was not bad, though I didn't fully understand it. The main character became an absolute annoyance though in the Matrix sequels. I found the drawing style in this short also a bit nervous. Or is that just me? I loved the music though :D.

It hurts me to write considering how much I worship Watanabe, but this was plain awful. It just felt so damn pretentious, despite having the most silly and straightforward plot imaginable. I wasn't a fan of the presentation either, and the skateboard action scene was shockingly poor. (The music choice didn't help matters) Overall, it's just a completely worthless short, which sadly, is not the only such entry in "The Animatrix".

It was alright, nothing special. I was quite disappointed how this kid turned out to be nothing more than an annoying side kick in the sequels. After all he releases himself which even Neo couldn't do so it's like some sort of build up to nothing. Well, apparently he ended up being important in The Matrix MMORPG but hahaha Sony Online Entertainment maintains that so let's just forget I mentioned it.
