A dumb title masks one of Bava's eeriest chillers. Beautifully photographed in rich color, this boasts haunting images that obviously inspired the great Fellini while shooting his segment for the Poe anthology _Spirits of the Dead_.

A pretty average plot, but the visual style and Gothic atmosphere are more than enough to make me like this one quite a bit. Although the quick push shots and rocking camera movements did get a little tiring after a bit, I could tell Bava was just having a lot of fun playing with the camera and lighting to see what kinds of neat shots he could muster.

The moment when he chases an unknown figure until he ultimately catches himself is quite powerful. I don't know what's going on but I love it. Plus, let's whip a girl with a plant.

"This conflict between modern medicine and superstition lends Kill, Baby...Kill! a moral volatility that's noticeably absent from other films in Bava's canon." - Ed Gonzalez

Bland supernatural period-horror. Hammer did this sort of thing so much better.

Especially interesting because of its real time take on what happens in one night. It's able to maintain its suspense because of the speed at which events happen throughout the night causing anxiety for both the characters and the audience. Bravo Mario.

Another gothic horror with a plot that's rather silly and hackneyed, but Bava maintains a creepy atmosphere throughout. Once again, there's some marvelous images and Bava makes excellent use of colored lighting. The "endless room" bit at the climax was clever, and there's a lot of fun stuff like that. I suspect this movie was a strong influence on The Shining, especially in the ghostly appearance of a genteelly-dressed little girl and also some of the musical cues were quite similar.

Bava's earlier cinematography experience shows in nearly every frame of this intensely atmospheric Eastmancolor affair, from a _Seventh Seal_-like hilltop tableau to Rossi-Stuart's murky descent into a local crypt.
